1. Access to the website

We aim to make Helmwize information available without requiring visitors to complete a cinematic sequence. The current preview includes a Skip intro control, a motion-off option, a control that stops the site remembering that choice, ordinary content sections and an optional film-viewing mode.

Where supported, the website uses your device's reduced-motion preference as its initial setting, unless you have selected another setting on the site. A local browser preference may remember your selection when you have not asked the site to forget it; the Cookie and Local Storage Notice explains it.

2. Motion and media

The introduction contains simulated camera travel, vessel and machinery animation, scene changes and moving data imagery. If motion is uncomfortable, use Motion off or Skip intro, or enable reduced motion in your device settings. Viewing the film is optional; information should remain available in ordinary page content.

Sound is not required to understand the intended public website. Any future meaningful spoken or audio-only content will need appropriate alternatives. This notice is not a medical assessment or a claim that a particular experience is safe for every individual.

3. Known limitations and support

This is a developing website. WCAG 2.2 AA is a target, not a claim that it is met. The last accessibility audit of the public routes was 14 September 2026. Behaviour may differ across browsers, assistive technologies and devices. We do not claim a specific certification.

An accessibility contact is not yet published. Use the enquiry form once transport is configured, or any channel you already have. Please include the page, the task you were trying to complete and, where comfortable, the relevant browser or assistive technology. You do not need to disclose a medical diagnosis. We will consider an appropriate alternative format or route for accessing the information.

4. Continuing review

We will use feedback and testing to improve the website. This notice does not reduce rights under applicable law or replace the need to fix a known material barrier.

An effective date and last-updated date have not been set. Version: 1.0. These pages are draft notices for the current preview and are not a counsel-approved publication.

Helmwize is a maritime decision-intelligence company. Built by people who have run vessels, ports and maritime operations, we find where AI creates measurable value, prove it on real work, and leave the software running inside our clients' own environments.

Illustrative maritime visuals and demonstration data. Not an operational navigation, engineering-certification or compliance system.
