1. Purpose and scope

This policy describes permitted use of the Helmwize public website, materials and any demonstration expressly made available. This website is published under the working name Helmwize. The legal operator, registration number and business address are not yet confirmed. Helmwize is a working name, not a confirmed incorporated company. It supplements the Website Terms. It does not grant access to non-public systems or authorise penetration testing.

2. Use the site lawfully

Use the site only for lawful business information and evaluation. Do not misrepresent your identity, authority or association with another organisation. Do not use the site or its branding to impersonate a provider, regulator, port, classification society or customer, or to facilitate fraud, sanctions evasion or another unlawful activity.

3. Protect systems and other people

Do not attempt unauthorised access, bypass access controls, disrupt availability, introduce malware, exploit a vulnerability beyond minimal lawful confirmation, or probe operational technology, customer systems or third-party infrastructure. Do not send spam, flood forms, scrape restricted records, collect personal data without authority or attempt to identify people from de-identified information.

Respect rate limits and published access restrictions. Automated use must not overload the site or defeat technical controls. Nothing in this policy restricts conduct that cannot lawfully be restricted.

4. Respect rights and information boundaries

Do not submit material you are not entitled to share, confidential third-party records, infringing content, malicious files or unnecessary personal data. Public demonstrations must use synthetic examples, not crew health records, identity documents, live voyage-security information, payment credentials or privileged documents.

Do not remove attribution or licence notices, sell access to the website, republish substantial materials without permission, or falsely present illustrative outputs as audited results. Third-party and open-source licences remain applicable.

5. Do not put the demo into operational control

Do not connect the public website or illustrative outputs to navigation, machinery, emergency-response, payment, regulatory-filing or other safety-critical systems. Do not treat a displayed approval or recommendation as authority to make an operational decision. Only a separately agreed service can define an authorised production use, and legal duties still apply.

6. AI-feature restrictions when expressly enabled

Any future interactive AI feature must have an approved use and its own relevant terms. Do not attempt to extract hidden customer data or credentials, evade safeguards, inject instructions into documents to redirect authorised processing, or use another person's information without authority. A conversational interface does not override the applicable data-use and approval rules.

7. Enforcement and reporting

We may use proportionate measures to prevent misuse, limit access, preserve necessary evidence, investigate reports and comply with lawful requests. We will handle related personal data under our Privacy Notice and applicable law. Suspension does not remove a statutory right or automatically cancel a separate customer agreement.

A monitored security contact is not yet published. Do not send exploit details or credentials through the enquiry form. A legal contact address is not yet published. A good-faith report does not itself authorise intrusive testing. See the Security and Vulnerability Reporting Notice.

An effective date and last-updated date have not been set. Version: 1.0. These pages are draft notices for the current preview and are not a counsel-approved publication.

Helmwize is a maritime decision-intelligence company. Built by people who have run vessels, ports and maritime operations, we find where AI creates measurable value, prove it on real work, and leave the software running inside our clients' own environments.

Illustrative maritime visuals and demonstration data. Not an operational navigation, engineering-certification or compliance system.
