THE DIAGNOSTIC
Know where AI is worth doing in your operation, before you build anything.
The Diagnostic turns a broad AI agenda into a small number of defensible priorities. We examine the work, the economics, the systems, the data and the constraints together, with people who have run fleets and terminals. You leave knowing what to do first, what not to do yet, what it should be worth and what it will take.
Start a DiagnosticA good maritime AI use case is not simply technically possible. It has a meaningful line in the voyage result or terminal P&L, repeatable volume, usable information in the PMS, agency and document trail, an owner who can change the workflow, manageable risk, and economics that still work after implementation and licence cost. The Diagnostic tests all of those conditions in two to four weeks, for a fixed fee agreed before we start.
01
What do we answer?
Where is the value?
Which workflows have a meaningful line in the voyage result or terminal P&L.
What first?
Which of those is worth changing now, given volume, data, ownership and risk.
What will it take?
What has to change around the software, and what it should cost to implement and run.
How will we know?
The measurement probe is frozen before any build starts.
02
What do we examine?
The work
The process as it actually runs.
The decisions
Where people stall, override or guess.
The systems
PMS, agency, finance, documents and the trail between them.
The information
Whether the records can support the workflow.
The controls
Who may act, and what must stay with a named person.
The economics
Whether the case still works after implementation and licence cost.
